Larry called from North Carolina wanting to order more Pop Open Cards. He loves using the cards and seeing God work. People get the right card with the right message and are excited about it! He said after giving out hundreds of cards he can count on 2 hands people who are Ho Hum about it. In other words people are grateful for the messages being right at the right time.

A concerned wife called the pastor anxious for him to come to visit her husband in the hospital. He had a stroke and wasn’t doing well and she was at the end of her rope and needed strength and encouragement. Life didn’t look good.

Tim had been struggling with his health for a few months. He had spent 20 days in the hospital, had several surgeries and almost died of a blood clot in his lungs. It had been a hard journey, especially for a man who had perfect health before this.

Pop Open Cards are great door openers as Paul found out.

Paul is a committed Christian businessman who was introduced to Pop Open Cards by a friend. He was impressed by the cards and always looked forward to getting one from his friend until everything changed.

A great way to touch lives is to have Pop Open Cards in the car to give to those who serve you at the drive-through of businesses. One day a Pop Open Card ambassador went through a number of drive-through locations. At one the young lady received the card and once she opened it she was so thankful. She shared it made her “A little emotional.”

The woman behind the counter was excited to see the Pop Open cards again and exclaimed: “It’s You!”

She shared how months before she had received a card and she still carried it with her. Evidently, the message in the card hit home for her.

Recently a volunteer chaplain shared this story with me. He used Pop Open Cards with the patients he served. He so often found the verse inside was just what the person needed to hear. One visit was with a personal friend who was in ICU with life-threatening issues. At the end of the visit, the chaplain pulled out a card and gave it to the friend. The word HOPE was on the cover.

During the holidays more people are open to spiritual messages than most any other time of the year. Themes of family gatherings, special meals, holiday worship services, gift-giving, and more open hearts. The special messages inside the Winter Pop Open Cards are welcomed and appreciated. We never know how much just one pop open card can impact someone we meet. We may be tempted to think the other person will not appreciate the card or is too busy to take time to receive and open a promise from God. But we would be wrong.

“I wanted to reiterate something I already told you. These cards are amazing!!!!! Again, when people say to me, "This is exactly what is going on in my life right now!" it just fuels me to continue to hand them out. Also, there are a few people in Christian ministry that do not completely understand this card ministry. Some call them "tracts" and have told me tracts are not handed out anymore.

She reminds us that when she first started using the cards we warned her as she handed them out people would come up to her the next time asking for “their card.” The warning came true. She has people constantly asking for a card from her. She hears people say over and over: “This is exactly what is going on in my life today.”

We recently had an opportunity at a “Mall” to set up a table with items from our church. We handed these cards out to everyone who would take one. People would stand there with tears in their eyes reading them.

The greatest thing since sliced bread for ministering without ministering. Everyone loves these cards. I have clients that fight over them. It’s all about evangelizing without being obnoxious and these cards are perfect. I add a stick-on business address and comment on mine that I have made at a local printer. I then peel and stick my company logo and statement on each card. Just a little work but well worth it. Pray you’re making these until Jesus comes back.

I love these cards. They are so easy to hand out. Only a few people seem to be ambivalent about them, but they take them anyway. I have had wonderful reactions to them. Many say “this is just what I needed today.” One store clerk hollered at me across the store as I was leaving “I needed this today. Thank you!”
